Be ready to be amazed by a special art performance by Ford Crull with music by Sylvie Degiez and Wayne Lopes presented by Saugerties Performing Arts Factory and Gallery.
In 2010 before a live audience in Shanghai, Mr.Crull created a large painting 10 by 18 feet for the opening of Bund1919, a new art area in Shanghai. The work was completely improvised, and featured 2 different musicians exemplifying the theme of “East, West.”
Now, for the Woodstock film Festival, Mr. Crull will again create a new live improvised work for the opening party, featuring the music ofDegiez and Lopes.
Mr. Crull is noted for his highly symbolic paintings which explore the expressive power of personal and cultural symbols in a series of densely painted and vividly colored compositions.
The Friday Night Filmmakers party is sponsored by SPAF.
